Farm Progress Show Rolls into Decatur Aug. 27-29

Nation’s Largest Outdoor Farm Show Highlights the Best in Agriculture

Make plans today to visit the Farm Progress Show, Aug. 27-29 in Decatur, Ill., to experience the newest, the biggest and the best agriculture has to offer.

The three-day event provides an unparalleled learning opportunity for producers to hear from experts about the latest developments in marketing, management and production with seminars presented daily. This includes a daily market price outlook session presented by Farm Futures Sr. Market Analyst, Bryce Knorr.

New This Year

With all the new tractor introductions and innovations, FPS is shaping-up to be the ‘Year of the Tractor.’ Show goers can expect to get their first glimpse of brand-new products including:

  • The Case IH AFS Connect Tractor;
  • The high-horsepower Kubota Row Crop Tractor;
  • The New Versatile Tractor;
  • New additions to the Fendt family from AGCO
  • New CLAAS tractor lineup; and
  • ROXOR.

On the grounds you’ll also find new buildings and infrastructure by Ag Growth, GSI and Morton.

Field demos include side-by-side tillage techniques; GPS and precision equipment; and tractor and combine performance comparisons. This year’s featured demos include:

  • Tiling
  • Mock Line Strike
  • Tillage Demonstrations
  • Autonomous Machines
  • Ride and Drives

 

A highlight of the 2019 show is a horse training seminar presented daily by professional horse trainer and clinician, Steve Lantvit.

For even more horsepower, catch the NASCAR drivers making an appearance at this year’s show. Clint Bowyer, driver of the #14 Dekalb Ford will be on hand Tuesday, Aug. 27, and Alex Bowman, driver of the #88 Nationwide Chevy will on-site Wednesday, Aug. 28.
