Ask-Carol! was founded in New Jersey in 2009 by Carol Shockley, who had helped her own Mom for many years and served as a volunteer at an assisted living facility, learning the issues seniors and their families face. Using that experience, she began helping families choose from among the many assisted living facilities basing her selections on individual family needs. Ask-Carol! is today one of the most respected referral agencies on the East Coast, with clients in many states. Its website is www.ask-carol.com
