Sacramento,California (PR MediaRelease) September 16, 2015 - In a blatant attempt to shut down a public discussion about the safety of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and the link to devastating truck and bus fires throughout the state, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) recently filed a motion in Glenn County Superior Court to ask the Court to dismiss a case brought by the Alliance for California Business (the Alliance) challenging the safety of the DPF and requiring CARB to cease its policy of “stop, search and fine” California truck and bus owners for not having this dangerous device on their vehicles.
